Volunteer Opportunity –
Get involved with Nature at Island Beach

This summer Island Beach State Park’s Interpretive Center and the Emily deCamp Herbarium need volunteers to help keep them open. Learn about nature and help others as you help keep the Park’s educational programs open. The hours are flexible.

The Interpretive Center At Island Beach State Park is in need of volunteers to staff the Center thru the summer season.

The center houses the Emily deCamp Herbarium and other exhibits explaining the natural and cultural history of Island Beach.

Volunteers keep the Interpretive Center open and answer questions for visitors. Training for volunteers will be provided.

Approximately three hours per week is the norm with both morning and afternoon positions available on weekdays and weekends.

The hours are 10 AM thru 1 PM and 1 PM thru 4 PM. For a rewarding experience please contact John Dobermiller at: (732)-279-3130.
