The purpose of this report by the New Jersey Pinelands Commission is to present information on the natural resources of Oyster Creek that may allow the Commission to reevaluate the existing land management designations. A brief description of the Waretown Creek watershed is also given. The primary question asked is: Does the Oyster Creek watershed display the essential character of the Pinelands? This question is answered by addressing the individual criteria used to define essential character.
