Bacteria levels this summer have often exceeded state limits for swimming waters near the Seaside Park’s 5th Ave bay beach and at the popular Tices Shoal weekend boat anchorage at Island Beach State Park, said student researchers who analyzed waters weekly as part of the annual Save Barnegat Bay Student Grant Program.
