Petition to Make Anchor Reef a Park with Boat Ramp

The Anchor Reef Marina area (southwest foot of Seaside Bridge, in Toms River) is by far the best opportunity for public access to the water, including a boat ramp in Dover Township. Please help gather signatures on a petition to make it happen. Download Petition [pdf]

Dover Township is currently redoing its Master Plan. The area of Anchor Reef Marina, at the southwest foot of the Seaside Bridge, on the mainland side, is the last chance for a public boat ramp, as well as fishing, crabbing and visual access to Barnegat Bay.

The site needs to be acquired whole, without a portion being opened to unneeded private waterfront development.
