Remember, there’s even more to Bay Friendly yard maintenance than using low nitrogen and slow release nitrogen fertilizers. If you have a lawn, aerate your lawn, test for acidity, lime appropriately, and add organic material. Healthy turf makes a better sponge than compacted turf that send water flowing into the bay.
