Good News in Seaside Heights!

A big THANK YOU to local objectors who are battling to stop their town from turning into another Atlantic City! The builder has conceded to build the condos in accordance with ALL of the existing zoning height requirements… thanks to the determination and persistence of dedicated townspeople. On Wednesday evening, February 26th, the builder of the once proposed 7-story, 150-unit condo complex announced his change of plans to comply with ALL of the existing height and setback requirements of the town. The new design plans call for forty units and a building height not to exceed 40 feet.

Local objectors, led by Ann Morgante, June Ord, Art Fiero, and the Seaside Heights Property Owners Association, worked hard to maintain the integrity of their town and prevent it from becoming another Atlantic City, which would adversely affect the aesthetics and water quality of Barnegat Bay. They tirelessly faught the township’s repeated attempts to change the existing height requirement to be greater than 40 feet.

Thank you so much for all your hard work! We are grateful for your commitment and perseverence.
