Dubious Political Contributions in Brick Township

Development interests pushing luxury homes on the Traders Cove site are well paid-in to the Brick Democratic fund raising machine, Brick Pride – see examples. THE BRICK DEMOCRATS EVEN TAKE MONEY FROM THE LITTLE LEAGUE. And it’s not small change…

Development interests make large contributions to Brick Pride, the Democratic fund raising entity. This helps elect those who appoint the members of the land use boards before which the deveopment interests appear.

See NJ Election Law Enforcement Commission reports on those pushing the Traders Cove development, including:

Mark Troncone, (King, Kitrick, Jackson & Truncone) attorney for the applicant

(Note that the Treasurer for “Brick Pride” is Jennifer Troncone.)

Paul Barlo, architect for the applicant

T&M Associates, the firm from which the applicant’s planner Tom Thomas only recently retired.

ALSO

The Brick Township Democrats take money from both the Little League and the hospital. And it’s not small change:

American Little League: $1,600

National Little League: $900

Meridian Hospital: $2,700

The corrosive power of money in politics is harming our environment and our children.

Here’s one way to fight the problem.
