Julia is a rising junior at St. Mary’s College of Maryland where she is a Biology and Environmental Studies double major. She is a member of both the Varsity Sailing Team and Women’s Soccer Team at St. Mary’s. Julia has grown up sailing every summer at Lavallette Yacht Club and has been a coach at Metedeconk River Yacht Club for the past five years. She feels very connected to the Barnegat Bay and is passionate about the environmental issues associated with the region. Through her internship with Save Barnegat Bay, Julia is hoping to further her education in environmental studies, as well as gain valuable experience working with a non-profit.
