Save Barnegat Bay’s Student Grant Program, in cooperation with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection and the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Ocean County, accepts applications for summer projects in which college students (or high school graduates about to matriculate) do mentored science projects and receive cash stipends of $1,000 or $1,500.
Save Barnegat Bay’s Student Grant Program, in cooperation with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection and the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Ocean County, accepts applications up to the end of March each year. Students who are enrolled or accepted at an accredited college do mentored science projects and receive cash stipends.
There are two basic formats.
(1) Undergraduate students work on a team storm water research project that will involve collecting water samples, analyzing samples, and completing a project report. Stipends are $1,000.
