Susan Hart
Fundraising Assistant
Chadwick Beach
A life-long lover of the Jersey Shore, Susan retired in 2021 after a 26-year career in corporate America and purchased the Chadwick Beach shore house where she grew up vacationing. She currently splits her time between living in Chadwick Beach and on the Delaware River in Frenchtown. It has long been her vision to volunteer and/or work in the non-profit sector during retirement. She has volunteered for Girls on the Run, POAC Autism Services and Island Beach State Park (IBSP), but it was the movie Drift, presented at IBSP’s members meeting, that drew her to Save Barnegat Bay. She began volunteering with Save Barnegat Bay in 2022 primarily assisting with the education programs and currently does ******
Before retirement, Susan worked her entire career at AM Best, a rating agency solely focused on insurance companies. There she worked her way up to Vice President of Client Services after filling various roles in Product Training, Product Sales, and Market Relations.
Susan is an avid runner and cyclist who has competed since the age of 13. Having many, many races under her belt, one of her proudest moments is finishing in the top x% at the 2002 NYC marathon.
