A celebration of the citizen effort to Save Barnegat Bay, which was born at Traders Cove in Brick Township 44 years ago.

Save Barnegat Bay is sponsoring a birthday celebration that will highlight Traders Cove Park & Marina and Mantoloking Bridge County Park.

We will offer live music for all to enjoy on a stage near the large grassy area by the Bay. Visitors will be invited to enjoy the entertainment by boat or by land.

Information highlighting citizen groups and their work on the Bay will be offered. The focus will be on public enjoyment of the park.

In conjunction with the County Parks, we will offer some seining, fishing demonstrations and possibly kayaks. There will also be various low-key art and inter-active activities for families. Also, we will work with the Brick Recreation Department to offer additional activities, information about the Township Recreation Department, Marina services and other park amenities.

We will encourage passive recreation like picnicking and general family fun.
