Calling all Brick Township Residents & Neighbors!

We are encouraging every Brick resident to attend the township’s February 4th Board of Adjustment Meeting regarding the Stavola Asphalt Plant!

The old Stavola Asphalt plant has a long history of violations and environmental complaints filed against it and its proposed expansion would only open the door for more harm to come to a community that is already overburdened and suffering from additional environmental justice concerns.

While the new owners of the plant say that this plant site is pre-existing and nonconforming and thus suitable for this expansion, our township officials and agencies in charge of keeping our community and water safe say the opposite is true. 

In fact, Brick Township’s Municipal Utility Authority, one of the most respected in New Jersey, has published comments citing numerous concerns about this project that YOU as a Brick resident should know about.
